Garrett and the Feathered Serpent Quetzalcoatl (Tales from Captain Davy Jones’ Locker)

Garrett Spencer is a boy on crutches, with one good leg, no friends, never been to a real school and lives with his family in a cave… because no one on the island will rent them a room.

The family lives on Shiloh Island, known for pirates, treasure caves and legendary sea monsters. Shortly after they arrive, Garrett rescues the legendary feathered sea creature Quetzalcoatl from the ravages of a hurricane and certain death. For the first time in his life, Garrett has a best friend.

But in order to remain together they will have to battle the bullies of the island – survive multiple attacks by Sea Dragons – attempt to find the hidden treasure beneath the island – save Garrett’s father’s business and unite the people of the island.

“If you are a fan of The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, your family will love the adventures of Quetzalcoatl.”

— Christopher Dalley —

“This is a book that brings good fun and adventure like The Goonies movie and a great message for all who love to dream of pirate treasure and sea monsters that are both good and bad.”

— Boyd Petersen —

About Dragon Mystic

I fell in love with dragons when I read Tea With the Black Dragon, and never looked back. Not the clunky winged Medieval dragons that ate cows, the graceful Asian dragons that could fly without wings. Later I discovered the elegant Welsh dragons, red and white, as described by R.J. Stewart in his books on the historical Merlin.
